Lady Glenconner is the international bestselling author of the extraordinary memoirs Lady in Waiting (2019) and Whatever Next? (2022), as well as the novels Murder On Mustique (2020) and A Haunting at Holkham (2021). A Maid of Honour at the Queen’s Coronation, she was appointed Lady in Waiting to Princess Margaret in 1973 and kept this role – accompanying her on many state occasions and foreign tours – until her death in 2002.
